NiCd An older form of rechargeable batteries Lower self-discharge than NiMH Wider discharge temperature range (-4°F to 149°F) Proper charging/discharging practices allow for longer service life than NiMH NiMH New design with more advantages Capable of storing and holding a greater charge - up to twice the battery life in high-drain devices (i.e. cameras).
